FOUNDER, HEAD COACH, NUTRITIONIST AND BRAINS OF SENECA TRAINING SYSTEMS.
I’m a strength and movement coach, entrepreneur, husband, Baltimore sports fan, grill master, dog dad and movie buff.
I moved to Tampa for the sun, sand and average winter temperatures in the mid-70’s, but there’s nothing quite like Fall in the Northeast and adventuring through the mountains.
HOW IT STARTED
My journey into the fitness industry started through sport as a youth. Surrounded by peers with naturally gifted height and size, out-training my competition was how I got ahead. For me to even consider competing at a high level, I had to be as strong and athletic as my 6’ tall, 205-lb counterparts.
Along the way, I learned how to get stronger, move faster and overcome injuries.
What crushed my dreams ultimately molded me into the coach that I am today. When I blew out my shoulder playing collegiate baseball, I turned my attention to helping others rehabilitate and come back stronger.
Fast-forward over ten years – and man, has the fitness industry gotten muddy.
With an abundance of information floating about in the ether, it’s hard trying to figure out not just what’s right from wrong, but what’s right for you and your goals. Not to mention what’s fun, keeps you injury-free, and helps you maintain a balance
Enter Seneca Training Systems.
STS is a culmination of my life experiences.
I’ve hated and loved fitness.
I’ve been so focused on performance that I’ve burned out.
I’ve neglected my health for the sake of success and achievement.
I’ve gained and lost weight.
I’ve struggled to find balance.
